Kaman Tong was born and raised in Hong Kong. She was just one of those ordinary wage earners like you and me, working 9am-8pm shift every day and only hoping for the weekends. A few years ago, Kaman gave up on her stable income and started pursuing the life that she had had been dreamt of, to learn how to roast tea. She first went to Taiwan to learn tea roasting skills that only a few people in Hong Kong practiced. After returning to Hong Kong, she invested all her savings in creating her own brand, Ms. Tea. At the same time, Kaman was also working for her own public relations and advertising company due to the lack of funds to support Ms. Tea. Kaman worked extra hard and even gave up on her resting time in order to keep with up both of her businesses.
